One Year of Odyssey Love

Grateful for one year and counting of Financing and Empowering Kenyans.

It’s been one year since we commenced our business activities. This year Odyssey has reached more than 1,450 people and businesses around Kenya and 150,000 people online. We initially started in Nairobi and now operate in surrounding areas such as Kiambu, Kajiado and Machakos counties.

Here are a few highlights from last month;

Mutie, a cab driver in Nairobi CBD. He took up an Odyssey Business Loan to fix his car to ensure that he could continue to support his son and pregnant wife.

Anastacia who owns Nikies Foods. She runs her bakery business from her home. This being her main source of income, she took an Odyssey Business loan that she used to purchase new baking machinery to improve efficiency and increase production.

Baraza, a guard working with Alpha Force Security. He did not have enough funds to cater for his son’s hospital bill. This emergency made him take an Odyssey Personal loan which enabled him to clear the bill.

Linet, a business woman in Toi Market. She took an Odyssey Business loan over the December holidays to meet the increased demand that came with the festive season. Since then Linet has increased her sales and is considering taking another loan to expand her business.

Alice, a business woman who sells cosmetics in River Road, Town. She had trouble meeting the demand of cosmetics that has increased of late. She decided to take an Odyssey Loan to fully stock up her shop in anticipation of the new year.
